| Located 2.5
miles north of Terra Alta, West Virginia, the Elsey Creek Trout Hatchery is
a coldwater trout hatchery consisting of outdoor raceways and indoor egg-
and fingerling rearing facilities. The clear, cold water of the Elsey Creek
watershed provides a good environment for raising trout. Elsey Creek
hatchery specializes in production of brook trout but also carry brown
trout, rainbow trout and golden rainbow trout. The hatchery is open to the
